The LAST preschool :(

I cannot believe our youngest is done with preschool, and kindy is only a few short months away. Oh, my heart....here's the last day of preschool
and Anna, with her favorite friends at school, "her dudes"--Eric and Luke (and Grammy behind them). Ted is not particularly pleased that her favs are boys.
I'm not sure where she gets her facial expressions....

Will's soccer tourney

We are having such a great time with Will's soccer team. They went to their first tournament and it was fantastic! They lost in the semi-finals, in double OT. We knew as parents we were out of control with our overly-enthusiastic cheering. As Ted said, it was THE most exciting sporting event he had ever seen. (Can you tell our kid was playing in it?) Here's the team, and families, after the loss. We're already signed up for the Badger State Games. The parents better simmer down...

Awards night at AWANA

For the past few years, the guys have been going to AWANA ("Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed"--2 Timothy 2:15). Towards the end of the year, they worked REALLY hard to finish their books, and here are their awards. Their scripture memorization no less than EXTRAORDINARY. Need a verse? Ask them! We are soooo proud. WAY TO GO GUYS!

Fancy Smancy

Ted and I were invited again this year to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation GALA. This is a formal event, and you know how formal we are! But we cleaned up pretty good, and had a great time!

Look how happy Ted is about wearing a suit!
I LOVED my hair. Guess how much it cost me? SEVEN BUCKS! My friend's niece is in Cosmotology at MATC so I went to her. I loved it so much I almost didn't want to take it out at bedtime. I loved it so much I may have her do it again just for fun and I'll go to the grocery store or somethin'. She wanted a picture of it, so here you go, Jess. THANKS!

Even longer time no blog...

Ok, so my EXCEPTIONAL blogging updates are starting to get away from me. Here's the latest:

The first sprinkler run of the season! Yipee! That's what's so great about spring, we know summer is coming...
Will has had some excitement in his 4th grade life. His Haiku poetry was "chosen from thousands of poems submitted by 4th grade students from So. Wisconsin to be honored..." at a talented and gifted reception. Who knew we had a poet and didn't know it!

I LOVE his teacher....each of his 26 classmates had a SPEAKING part in two plays they put on this week. Here he is in his role as a forgetful grandpa....

And finally, a picture that we hope to show at this couple's wedding in say, 20 years? They both became top-teeth-toothless within a week of each other (our sweet neighbor, Payton)

Long time no blog....

Yeah, it's been a bit, so here's some of what we've been up to....

This is in the empty lot next to us. It's our very own private driving range. Reservations are being taken, for a small fee. (Kaleb's in the gray sweatshirt)
Here's Anna's FABULOUS (if I say so myself) b-day party at a gymnastics center. A great time was had by all

We HAVE had some warm weather. Well, two days. This was a week ago. It's been snowing all morning again. I'm not kidding.

Celebrating somethin' on April 9th....

Kaleb's front two teeth were finally loose. Here's our very multi-talented friend, Steve, helping along the process....

And the final product two days later! I love toothless!
