Lazy Days of Summer

We've been doin' little bits of LOTS! Love summer!

Anna's t-ball

Gardening...

Golf lessons....

And who can resist a sweet lemonade stand, manned by many of the 'hood kids. After profits were split for the cost of the product, marketing, advertising, and labor, I think they each made $.87

Camp Okoboji

We've just returned from an exceptional family experience--a family Christian camp in Iowa. We're already booked to go back to OKOBOJI next year!

Here we are in the car, about ready to go. Poor Baxter thought he should go with. But he got special one-on-one time with Grammy (thanks, Gram!)

One of my favorite parts of each day was family devotionals. A special shout out to our FANTASTIC counselor, Grant! We miss you!
Enjoying our barbeque lunch at the beach with another fav counselor, Melissa
And free time at the lake

There was a camper talent show, where the boys participated in a skit about superheros. Kaleb not only played Captain Underpants, he WAS Captain Underpants. Will was Superman, and Anna was a back-up singer in a high school musical song.

On the last day, familes from the Mt that we went with. (There were a total of 42 families there, seven from our town). Thanks for the invite! One of the best family times of our lives!

Happy 4th!

Hope you are enjoying a GREAT Holiday weekend. We are! It struck me this year how God has blessed this great nation for soooo long. "Blessed is the Nation whose God is the LORD." Ps. 33:12. Take some time to reflect on that!

Here is the sweetest 4th Parade you've ever seen! Hundreds of kids on their bikes and scooters, going around downtown. Anna and Kaleb are below the red ballon. (And Payton and Zoe)
Then we headed up to Grampy's lake for a beautiful day and fun time.

Aren't my peeps fantastic?
GOD BLESS AMERICA!!
